Michael Verlo Jimas, 51, our dearly loved husband, son, father, brother and grandfather, died June 10, 1996, of lung complications.
He was born July 8, 1944 in Logan, Utah, to Verlo E. Kendrick and Naydean Lundahl.Michael was very fortunate to also be a son of Andy Jimas. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Michael was employed as a Realtor with RE/MAX Professionals, Norcross, Georgia and was a licensed Real Estate Appraiser. He owned and operated Mountain States Distributing in Salt Lake City, Utah, for many years.
Michael was an officer of the Decatur-Stone Mountain, Georgia, Elks Lodge #1602, and a member of the American Legion Post #66 in Decatur, Georgia.
Survivors: wife, Dee, Duluth, Georgia; mother, Naydean Lundahl Jimas Bauer, Murray; children: Aundrea Jimas, Hapeville, Georgia; Erika Pearson, Salt Lake City; Jeffrey Wiscomb, Duluth, Georgia; Brian Wiscomb, Redmond, Wash.; James Wiscomb, Salt Lake City; nine beautiful grandchildren; brothers: Kim Strickland, Cassey Scoffield, Richard Kendrick, Brad Kendrick, and Jan Kendrick, all Salt Lake City; sisters: Cathy Danielson, Debbie Van Wyngaarden, Dixie Jimas, all Salt Lake City; and Laurel Sperry of Green River, Wyoming
Our Deepest gratitude to the entire staff of Joan Glancy Hospital in Duluth, Georgia, who "never gave up", you will not be forgotten.
Funeral services, will be Saturday, June 15, 1996, at 11 a.m., at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 So. 1700 East, Sandy, where friends may call Friday, 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior. Interment Larkin Sunset.
