Mario Andretti is back for another try at the only major international racing title he has not won, while the Porsches and McLarens duel at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend.
Andretti's long list of accomplishments include winning the 1969 Indianapolis 500, the 1967 Daytona 500 and the Formula One world championship. He is driving at Le Mans for the sixth time and wants to better his second-place finish last year when his Courage-Porsche C34, co-driven by Bob Wollek and Eric Helary of France, finished three minutes behind the winners.
