Utah County
In its Tuesday, June 18, meeting, the Utah County Planning Commission is scheduled to:
- Consider an amendment to the zoning ordinance to require paved road access as a prerequisite for building permits of occupied buildings.
- Consider deletion from the official map of Utah County Road 3000 West from U-147 south to the end of the road.
- Consider a conditional-use permit requested by Lantis for use of an existing manufacture and storage site as a fireworks training and licensing site in Cedar Valley.
- Review three agriculture protection area applications: two from Cherry Hill Farms Inc. (Santaquin area); and one from Zeeman Poultry Ranch Inc. (Lake Shore area).
Alpine School Board
In its Tuesday, June 18, meeting, the Alpine School Board is scheduled to:
- Tour the new Timpanogos High School in Orem at 5:30 p.m.
- Consider adoption of the district's 1996-97 tentative budget.
- Consider adoption of two policies on school choice.
- Consider the reappointment of Steven Baugh, district superintendent.
