Fire crews are battling a blaze that has burned 1,500 acres near the Juab County and Utah County border.
The Long Ridge Fire is burning grass, sagebrush and pinion trees about five miles west of Mona on land owned by the Bureau of Land Management.Fire officials believe the fire started Wednesday.
Six fire crews were attempting to contain the fire Friday. Two helicopters and two air tankers are also en route.
