A firm has recently popped up in the Washington, D.C., area called "Rent-a-Husband."
What a great idea. Almost every wife I know has a list a mile long of things her husband has "promised" to do. It usually starts with fixing the gutter, dripping faucet, loose towel rack - you name it. Then there's cleaning out the garage, workroom, basement, whatever. Often followed by painting the fence, shutters, front porch, etc.But for most wives I know, these projects never get done. Today's husbands, it seems, unlike those of a generation or two ago, can't be bothered or just don't know how.
