SHARE TEEN IS STABLE AFTER RESCUE FROM SANDY POOL

A 16-year-old boy nearly drowned while swimming in a neighborhood pool in Sandy Saturday evening.

A group of friends was swimming at the Sandy Village Mobile Park pool when one of them noticed the victim at the bottom of the pool, said Sandy Police Officer Lane Cole.Two of the youths pulled the boy out and called 911. When police arrived, the boy had resumed breathing. He was taken to Alta View Hospital, where he was listed in serious but stable condition Saturday night.
