Ella Hazel Fairbourn, 83, passed away Sunday, June 16, 1996 in Bennion, Utah.

Born September 12, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of George W. and Hazel Brown Fairbourn. Faithful member of the LDS Church in the Taylorsville 18th Ward. Worked in retail sales for many years at Skaggs and Kmart. She was very talented with arts and crafts and enjoyed gardening. She loved children and family parties and was truly the greatest babysitter in the world. Ella was very generous and genuinely liked by all who knew her.Survived by brother, George (Ferne) Fairbourne, Salt Lake City; sister, Betty Kaiser, Denver, Colorado; three nieces, Julynne (Nell) Petersen, St. George; Sharla (Kent) McClearly, West Jordan; Debra (David) Parker, Colorado Springs; nephew, Mike (Tina) Kaiser Jr., Louisville, Kentucky; 17 great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Mike Kaiser.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the Beehive Home West Jordan and Heritage Bennion Care Center for the love and care shown to Aunt Ella.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
