Ray Raymond, 84, died peacefully at Garden Terrace the night of June 15, 1996.

He was born August 5, 1911 in New York City to Maurice and Edith.He is survived by his wife, Ruth Clark Paine Raymond; one daughter, Patti Raymond Kelly; four grandchildren, Chad Scott Kelly, Kristin Kelly Longson (Matt), Courtney Kelly, and Kim Kelly; great-granddaughter, Libby Longson; one sister, Florence Maclaire, Chicago.

Ray spent his early married years as a flight instructor in the Navy. Upon concluding his service to his country, he attained a ranking of Lt. Commander.

Starting with nothing, he opened his own business, an exclusive women's clothing store named Raymond's. With his wife, Ruth, at his side, he worked with tremendous success for 45 years until they retired. He was a member of the Country Club for many years. The things he loved most in life were flying airplanes, his second home in Overton, Nevada, his beautiful wife, Ruth, and his family. He was affectionately known as "Pas," a nickname given by his grandchildren. "We Love you Pas."

A graveside memorial service in his honor in his honor 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20th, at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive. Directors, Neil O'Donnell & Sons.
