Sharon Young, a marketing executive in the Utah Department of Community and Economic Development since 1993, has been appointed director of business development in the Utah Division of Business and Economic Development, according to Rick Mayfield, director.
She replaces Richard Bradford, who has been appointed director of the Division of Community Development.Mayfield said Young worked at recruiting new companies to Utah and in her new job will assist Utah companies and help them grow. Previous to her state job, Young was a coordinator of PacificCorp's community development program.
