Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Gifford Allen Peterson, 63, died June 17, 1996.
Born May 16, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Henry W. and Mary J. Peterson. He married To Rozanne Hammer in Salt Lake City September, 1955; they later divorced. Married Marilyn Garcia May 23, 1975 in Ely, Nevada.He enjoyed camping and fishing. He retired as a self-employed painter. Served in the U.S. Navy during Korean War.
Survived by wife; sons, Jeff (Ronda) Peterson; and Gordon (Tonya) Peterson; daughters, Cindy (Howard) Mecham, Bonnie (Bill) Barr, and Julie Nielsen; stepchildren, Lynn Garcia, Chris Garcia, and Andrea (John) Martinez, 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Marlin) Peterson, Doug (Barbara) Peterson, Jerry Peterson, and Kenneth Peterson; and sisters, Betty Mitchell and Mory Baker. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers, one sister, and one great-granddaughter.
He will be missed by all.
