Millard County has lost its full-time Utah State University Extension Service home economist, but the slack is being taken up by those in Juab and Beaver counties. Ann Parkinson recently transferred from Millard County to Sevier County.

Her vacated position is being filled by Margie Memmott of Juab County and Adrie Roberts of Beaver County. Roberts will spend time in Fillmore each Thursday while Parkinson will be in Delta on Wednesdays and the first and third Mondays, Extension Service personnel reported.Costs for the changed policy and personnel will be split among Millard County and the Extension Service, the latter paying transportation for the economists from their home offices to Millard County and the county picking up the travel costs within its boundaries.

Roberts has been with the Extension Service for six years and Memmott for four years, said Diane Reese, district supervisor.
