Hillary Rodham Clinton, announcing a series of changes in her press staff on Wednesday, named Marsha Berry her director of communications and said press secretary Lisa Caputo was leaving to join CBS. Berry has been press secretary for West Virginia Sen. Robert Byrd. Neel Lattimore, a deputy press secretary for the first lady, was named to replace Caputo. Caputo, who has been the first lady's press secretary since 1992, will become vice president of corporate communications for CBS, according to a White House announcement. Hillary Clinton said in the statement that Caputo has been "a tireless voice for the issues that this administration had championed. I will miss her greatly." Karen Finney and Steve Cohen will continue to serve as deputy press secretaries to the first lady.
