Bob Helm, vice president of Helm & Sons Inc., a horizontal boring and pipe ramming company, has been chosen as the 1996 chapter president of the Intermountain Utility Contractors Association.
Lyndon Jones, owner of Lyndon Jones Construction, is vice president. Deanna Johnson of RDJ Construction is secretary/treasurer.IUCA, which emphasizes safe sewer, water and underground utilities, offers members educational, social and industry opportunities.
"This year's goal is to make the seemingly invisible utility industry a visible one in the eyes of municipalities as well as the general public," Helm said.
IUCA is the Utah chapter of the National Utility Contractors Association, which represents nearly 2,000 contractors and suppliers.
