Our dearly loved, Lorna Lou Jensen Koontz passed away, June 16, 1996, in Yelm, Washington, after a courageous battle with diabetes.

She was born on April 7, 1929, in Malad, Idaho, to William (Bill) Erastus Jensen and Ida May Shaffer. She married Wayne F. Koontz on June 23, 1944 in the Salt Lake Temple.She is survived by husband, Wayne of Yelm, Washington; three sons and three daughters, Jan and Laura Koontz, Enumclaw, Washington; Jerald Koontz, Renton, Washington; Daron and Gaynor Koontz, Aurora, Colorado; Kimberlee and Frank Holladay, McKenna, Washington; Dawn and Woody Miller, Spanaway, Washington; and Deanna and Mark Tarpenning, Oregon. Her pride and joy, 17 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Daryl, Orlando, Florida, Kirk, Murray, Utah, Loren Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters Eilene Nyhagen, Los Angeles, California, Maxine Harwood, Salt Lake City, Utah. Numerous nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in-laws whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three children, Michael, Jeffrey and Kaylynn. One sister, Beverly Hansen, and one brother, William Keith Jensen.

A memorial service will be Sat., June 22, 1996, 11 a.m., the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewing one hour prior to services. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery
