Helen Hill Musser, age 81, died Thursday, June 20, 1996 at the home of a niece in Paradise, Utah.
Born May 17, 1915 in Millcreek, Utah to Joseph White and Mary Caroline Hill Musser.She graduated from Granite High School, LDS Business College and the University of Utah as a secondary education teacher. An active member of the LDS Church, she served as a missionary to Hawaii and was an avid church teacher and writer. She was a nanny, WPA secretary and was discharged from the United States Marine Corps with the rank of Corporal. Employed for many years at the Salt Lake Mill and Lumber Co. until her health no longer permitted, she spent three days at farm and three days at the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survived by sisters and brothers, Blanche Blecher; Naomi Schiffman; JoAnne Musser; and Amos Musser, all Salt Lake City; Bertha Weaver, St. George; Anna Stevenson, Berkley, Calif.; and Ellis Kirkham, San Francisco, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24, 12 noon, in the Bonneville Ward chapel, 1535 Bonneview Dr. (1020 So. 1580 E). Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at the ward chapel one hour prior to services. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens.
