Suter, 32, was convicted Thursday of aggravated criminal sexual assault, which normally carries a penalty of six to 30 years in prison. His past record makes him eligible for double that.
Macon County State's Attorney Larry Fichter said Friday he might ask for the maximum 60 years at a July 19 sentencing.
