The Homestead Resort has received the 1996 Four Diamond Award for the ninth consecutive year by the California State Automobile Association.
The rating will be displayed in the 1996 edition of the Colorado/Utah TourBook, one of the American Automobile Association's guides published for its 38 million members.James P. Molinelli, CSAA president, said the award is presented to properties and restaurants that provide a high degree of service, hospitality, upscale features and amenities. Under the AAA rating systems, accommodations and restaurants are subject to rigorous evaluations by a team of professional inspectors.
Of the more than 22,000 properties listed in the 1996 tourbooks, only 4 percent are four diamond and of the more than 10,000 restaurants only 5 percent are four diamond.
