Evans & Sutherland Computer Corp. will likely have earnings matching analysts' estimates of 16 cents a share for the current quarter, according to Chief Executive James Oyler.
Oyler said the company has smoothed out its historical wide swings in earnings and widened its profit margins. Oyler said the company has tried to create a backlog and keep sales steady, where it used to have more sales in the last quarter.Last week, Evans & Sutherland said it signed a contract with UAL Corp.'s United Airlines to supply a visual system for a simulator.
