Reese Roberts, acting business administrator of the Davis County School District, recently received a Financial Reporting Achievement Award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
Reese received the award for the district's 1996 comprehensive financial report, which he was largely responsible for pre-paring.The district itself was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
The awards were presented because the financial report demonstrated a "spirit of full disclosure," clearly communicates its finances, and motivates impacted persons to read it.
