BYU recruit Jason Keo killed in auto accident

Jason Keo, a star high school running back in Hawaii who had signed to play football for BYU, was killed in an automobile accident early Sunday morning. The Kahuku High School senior died after losing control of his car and hitting a utility pole early Sunday morning. He was returning home from a graduation party.

Keo, of Laie, Hawaii, attended the same high school as current Cougars tight end Itula Mili and running back Mark Atuaia. Keo missed most of his senior season with a broken collarbone, but was back in time for the state playoffs. He rushed for 279 yards in the league championship game and 120 yards in a one-point loss to Saint Louis for the Hawaii prep title.
