Elwood Wallace White, 77, passed away June 25, 1996 in Salt Lake City.
Born March 6, 1919 in Ogden, Utah to George W. White and Martha Lythgoe White.Survived by his wife, Marvella; children, Craig, Kenneth, Lynda, Gary, Alan, Kelly, Connie, Karen and Paul; 29 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Army Coastal Artillery from June 1941 to September 1945. He accumulated nearly three years of overseas service. He was a Railroad and Federal Government retiree. He lived and taught duty, honesty, integrity, love and kindness. He will be remembered as a tender parent and loving companion.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 1996 at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
