A company official said the product, a nutritional supplement, is being offered for a limited time at no cost to people with HIV/AIDS who are participating in marketing introduction studies at clinics and hospitals across the United States.Milton G. Adair, Optim president, said OptiMune is a natural product that produces high concentrations of immunoglobulins and other proteins. The company believes OptiMune assists in the body's ability to absorb nutrients that help prevent malnutrition and weight loss.
