Delma Rudy Long, age 93, died peacefully at home, where she always wanted to be, Wednesday, June 26, 1996.
She was born September 21, 1902 in Vernal, Utah, to Josiah Philip and Martha Timothy Rudy. She married Winfred Long, November 27, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 9, 1943. He died August 6, 1972.She is survived by children, Glenice and Donald Palmer, Rockland, Calif.; Norman and Joyce Long, Vernal, Utah; Valois Morrill, Neola, Utah; Kenneth A. and Colleen Long, Eden, Utah; Lowell D. and Fern Long, Vernal, Utah; Larain and Gerald Mobley, Neola, Utah; Beverly and Wayne Cantwell, Logan, Utah; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Long, Salt Lake City, Utah; 28 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by children, Gordon, Ruth, Ina Rae, and Robert Nathan, four brothers and 12 sisters, one grandchild, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 1st at the Neola LDS Church. Friends may call at the Hullinger-Olpin Mortuary in Roosevelt, Sunday 7-9 p.m. and at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
