A Brigham Young University professor has been appointed to a national health-care committee.
Robert Parsons, Orem, a professor at BYU's Marriott School of Management, has accepted a position on the Committee of Governance of the American Hospital Association.Parsons, also a member of Utah Valley Regional Medical Center's Governing Board, has been asked to serve on the AHA board at least through the year 2000.
Parsons has been published in several health-care journals, including "Journal of Healthcare Finance," "Healthcare Financial Management" and "Journal of Hospital Marketing."
