Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Robert Wayne Will, Sr. (Bob), 70, passed away after a valiant fight with lung disease on June 25, 1996, in Salt Lake City.

He was born the fifth of seven children, Februay 14, 1926 to Orma May and Samuel Omer Will in Salt Lake City and grew up in the San Francisco Bay area.Bob served in the U.S. Army infantry during World War II in the 69th Division and was instrumental to the success of many missions against the Axis in Europe. Bob married Geraldine Veatch on September 5, 1958.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; his children, Sharon Tyree, Jean Loury, Debbie Will, Robert Wayne Will II; four grandchildren. Also by his sisters, Lorine Stocking, Leah Geseck, Jean Manning, and brothers, Logan and Russell Will. Preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Samuel; and his daughter, Kellie Lorraine.

Bob earned and Associate degree from Utah Technical College in 1975 and he was a temple worker for the LDS Church for over 10 years at the Jordan River Temple. He truly loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren and all of humanity. He loved the mountains and traveling.

Bob was loved by all who knew him. His kind and direct manner gave us all an example of what honesty and compassion truly mean and it will impact us all for the rest of our lives.


Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, 1996, at 11 a.m., at the Murray Utah Parkway Stake House, 619 West 5750 South (enter from 700 West). Grave sight services and interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East. Friends may call on Sunday At Larkin Sunset Garden, 10600 So. 1700 East, 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church, one hour prior to services.
