More than 400 low-income Utah families will get new affordable rental housing as part of a program by the Utah Housing Finance Authority. UHFA has awarded $14 million in tax credits to seven af-ford-able rental housing projects throughout the state.
The projects will provide 410 new units of rental housing in Blanding, Clearfield, Draper, Hurricane, Park City, Provo and Salt Lake City. The apartment projects getting the tax credits must remain affordable for up to 99 years.
