Douglas Brent Shurtleff, aka Brent Douglas, age 41, passed away June 2, 1996 in Santa Barbara, California.
Born April 1, 1955 in Sacramento, California to W. Burt and Charlotte Amundsen Shurtleff.Graduated from El Camino High School 1973 in Sacramento, California. Attended American River Jr. College. Served an LDS mission in Atlanta, Georgia. Resided in Park City, Palm Springs, but Santa Barbara became the home he loved! Brent left much beauty here on this earth with his special talent in interior/ floral design.
Survived by his parents; two brothers, Steven (Nicki) and Brian (Rebekah); two sisters, Kathy (Don) Vinson, and Lisa (Scott) Parry. Also survived by 23 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman K. and Charlotte G. Amundsen, and Wilford E. and Marion B. Shurtleff.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 6, 12 noon, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So. Highland Drive, under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
