"Values and Liberty: An American Crisis," the televised version of April's successful Tanner Roundtable at Utah State University, will air statewide on KUED-TV at 8 p.m. Friday.

The 60-minute program is moderated by veteran newsman Bernard Kalb of CNN and features 10 panelists, including Gov. Mike Leavitt, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Jack Anderson, Utah Episcopal Bishop Carolyn Tanner Irish, former NBC News President Lawrence Grossman, and others.During the hourlong program, panelists discuss whether America is facing a "moral collapse" and take up issues ranging from prisons to public education to the media in attempting to grapple with "an American crisis," said Ted Pease, head of USU's communication department.
