Marjorie Wood Jennings, 81, died June 4, 1996.

Born April 23, 1915 in Provo, Utah to Henry G. and Maude E. Deal Wood. Married Melvin Keith Jennings July 8, 1937 in Ogden, Utah. He died February 16, 1992.Retired librarian at age 76. Member LDS Church. Wonderful gardener, traveled extensively. Avid bridge player with lifelong friends, Helen McCraley, Phyllis Chatwin and Marion Reese.

Survived by four children: Anne Jennings and Brooke Jennings, both of Salt Lake City; Craig Jennings, Seattle; Scott Jennings, Chunchon, South Korea; five grandchildren, Kristen (Chad) McQuiston, Cameron (Monty) Keene, Antony Burns, Shane (Julie) Jennings, Alexander Burns; three great-grandchildren, Alexandria Pedersen, Canyon and Lauren McQuiston; beloved sisters, LaRue Nelson and Norma Halliday, dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rollen and Carrie Jennings, and Robert and Gloria Jennings.

Funeral services will be 12 noon, Friday, June 7, 1996 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive where friends may call from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

She will be planted in the soil she loved to sow.
