Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister Emma Louise Gorringe Hughes, passed away June 5, 1996 in Bountiful, Utah from natural causes.
Born February 21, 1912 in Ogden, Utah, daughter of George W. and Catherine Ferguson Gorringe. Married Warren James Hughes, August 8, 1944. Marriage solemnized April 19, 1963 in the Logan LDS Temple.She is survived by son, Warren Danne Hughes (Cathy), Salt Lake City; sister, Hollis Davis, Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband; son, Steven; three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services Saturday, June 8, 1996, 1 p.m. at the Centerville Pheasant Ward, Rowland Way Chapel, 610 Rowland Way, Centerville, Utah. Friends may call Friday, 6 - 8 p.m., Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Saturday morning from 11:45 - 12:45 at the Chapel. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
