Two teenage brothers were being treated at a local hospital late Saturday for injuries they received when they were struck by a shotgun blast during a dispute over possession of a vehicle.

Two men and a woman were arrested following the disturbance, which occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 300 W. and 450 North, said Salt Lake City police Lt. Carroll May.Ave Jackman, 18, was hit in the head and neck with birdshot. Glen Jackman, 19, was struck on the calf.

An off-duty officer spotted the suspect vehicle and assisted in the arrest, May said.
