Fidel T. Duran, 87, died July 8, 1996 in Denver, Colorado.
Born April 24, 1909 in Holman, New Mexico, to Joe and Dolores Trujillo Duran. Married Ermalina Mondragon in 1932; she died March 7, 1961. Married Augustina B. "Tina" Duran July 10, 1965; she died August 31, 1994. Fidel worked for 37 years as a powder man at Kennecott.Survived by children, Joseph (Leeann) Duran, Union, Utah; Max (Judy) Duran, Midvale; Rose Duran, Denver, Colo.; John (Kathy) Duran, West Valley City; 24 grandchildren; two great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Gilbert Fidel "Junior" on Aug. 25, 1949; three brothers and one sister.
Funeral Mass Friday, July 12, 10 a.m., St. Therese Catholic Church, 75 East Lennox, Midvale, where friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Interment, Midvale City
