The Utah State University Extension Service offers training on beginning home-based businesses.
The two-session training will be Thursday, July 11, and Thursday, July 18, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the County Administration Building, 100 E. Center. Registration is $20 if paid in advance or $25 at the door.Topics covered will include how to avoid scams, pros and cons of home-based work, matching skills and talents to a possible business, creating a business overview, research questions and resources, legal restrictions and information, getting startup cash, answers to common tax questions, marketing the product or service, working around and with your spouse or family, business resources, record keeping and much more.
