A Fruit Heights boy is in satisfactory condition after suffering burns on his face and head when a can of gasoline ignited Tuesday evening.

Scott Bone, 11, was playing with a container of gas and ignited it, according to Lt. Kevin MacLeod of the Davis County Sheriff's Office. When he dropped it, flaming gasoline splashed onto his head, face, and shoulders, MacLeod reported.He was flown to University Medical Center after the 6:15 p.m. accident and is reported in satisfactory condition with second-degree and third-degree burns, according to paramedics.
