Lynn N. Murdock, 87, died July 7, 1996, of injuries sustained in a fall.

Born February 3, 1909 in Heber City, Utah, the son of Nymphas Hyrum and Sarah Ann Lee Murdock. He served an LDS mission to the Netherlands in 1928-1929, and was married to Mina Showalter June 7, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple.They were the parents of two sons and two daughters, Clair N., Hennefer, Utah; Don Leroy (deceased); Lynda Harrison, Centerville, Utah; LuAnn Jenson, Glendora, California; sister, Lucille C. Todd, Heber City, Utah; also survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. His wife, Mina, preceded him in death by one year.

Until his death he was active as a sealer in the Salt Lake Temple where he had served for 30 years. Previously he had served as a bishop and in a stake presidency in Vernal, Utah. He was also active in the Sons of Utah Pioneers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday July 13, 1996, 11 a.m. in the Eagle Gate Stake Center, 135 No. A Street, Salt Lake City. Friends and family may call Friday evening, July 12, 1996 from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple and from 10-11 a.m. prior to services at the chapel.

To live in those we leave behind is not to die.
