Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, Beth Cooper Beck, age 79, passed away peacefully, after a long and valiant struggle with Osteoporosis and CHF, July 10, 1996, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Beth was born May 14, 1917, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of John and Hannah Hansen Cooper. She married Harold Byron Beck on August 21, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1994.She had a great sense of humor and liked a good joke. Had a quick mind and was always on top of things. Gave many gifts to people "Just Because", which showed that she always thought about everyone else. She was a good cook and set quite a table. She was an avid reader. Loved music, crocheting/plastic canvas, and shopping. Composed music for many road show productions. Always had her thought book handy when times were tough. Was a long time member of RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). Played the Melodica in the Seniors Harmonica Band. She was a kind and loving individual who was devoted to her family and loved having them around. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her, especially her grandchildren who adored her. Her passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.
