Our wonderful wife, mother, and grandma, Margret Beth Rushton Greene, 74, of American Fork, died July 10, 1996 at her home after a nine month battle with leukemia.

Born April 18, 1922 in American Fork to Horace and Margrette Estella Mayne Rushton. She married her sweetheart and favorite dance partner, Russell T Greene, October 24, 1942 in Yakima, Washington. They were sealed for time all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April 18, 1946. They were blessed with five wonderful children; Jan, Kim, DeR, Meg and Deb.Beth was blessed to have been born, raised, and died on the same piece of property in American Fork. She has always been an active member of the LDS Church, serving faithfully in many callings. Her favorites included leading the music and singing in the choir, where she was a faithful member for over 50 years. She was also a Golden Gleaner. Her loves were music, arts, handicrafts, creativity, and especially her family. Many people have been the recipients of her numerous talents.

Beth is survived by her husband of 53 years, 8 months, 17 days; her children: Janet Greene, Park City; R. Kim (Sherry) Greene, American Fork; DeR (Jolene) Greene, Lehi; Meg (Barry) Morse, Dugway; Debra (Lance) Billings, Orem. She was rewarded with 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Orpha Batchelor, American Fork; two brothers, Joe Rushton, Lehi; and Stephen Rushton, St. Anthony, Idaho. She was greeted beyond the veil by her parents, two sisters and three brothers, John Rushton, Estella Langford, Mayne Rushton, Mayza Carson, and George Rushton.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 1 p.m., in the American Fork 18th Ward, 381 South 300 East. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the Church from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Burial, American Fork Cemetery.
