Intermountain Health Care is holding an open house Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its newest health center in the former Shipley Building, 400 N. Main Street.
The two-story building has been completely remodeled and equipped as a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic, IHC officials said. It has been separated into pods for family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics and nurse midwifery.Another pod contains a pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, an education classroom and a lunch room. Guests are invited to tour the facility.
IHC officials said the IHC InstaCare at 214 W. 1500 South will continue to offer walk-in medical care without an appointment.
The company has medical centers under construction in Ogden, South Ogden, South Jordan and Sandy. At least nine more health centers will open next year.
