Don H. Seeley, 80, died July 10, 1996 in Price.
Born December 1, 1915 in Sunnyside, a son of George Willard and Percy Olive Dickman Seeley. He married Nona Mary Christiansen March 18, 1935 in Price. She died January 16, 1988 in Ferron. He then married Leah H. DeFriez July 6, 1988 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was a rancher, miner, construction worker, and owned a trading post in Vermillion Cliffs, Arizona.He is survived by three sons and their wives, Dick and Kathy Seeley, Big Piney, Wyoming; Edmond Scott and Susie Seeley, Flagstaff, Ariz.; Norman J. Seeley, Midland, Texas; three daughters-in-law, Lois Seeley, Colorado; Wilma Seeley (Andrew) Bark, Page, Ariz.; Darcy Borden Seeley, Craig, Colorado; stepchildren and their spouses, Mervin and Gale Miles, Orangeville; Leon and Colleen DeFriez and Stephen and Jakie DeFriez, all of Castle Dale; 30 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by sons, Jack W. and Don Michael and a grandchild, Jakque Linn Seeley.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 13, at 11 a.m. in the Green River LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Elgin Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary of Price.
