Another long-running TV hit is headed for the big screen.
George Litto, producer of such films as "Dressed To Kill" and "Blow Out," said Wednesday he's planning a film version of "Hawaii Five-O."Litto hopes to start filming early next year.
"It's going to be a big picture," he said from Honolulu, adding that it could be a $50 million to $70 million blockbuster.
It's too early to say who will star in the film. But two featured cast members from the TV hit - James MacArthur and Kam Fong - have said they would consider parts, Litto said.
"Hawaii Five-O," which starred Jack Lord, was the longest-running crime show in TV history, 1968-80.
