Hundreds of Utahns expressed joy, sorrow and "missing-you" sentiments for people stricken by cancer. Reagan Outdoor Advertising donated the space, and the hand-penned notes were collected during the American Cancer Society Salt Lake Unit's "Relay for Life" in June. The messages on the billboard, which was unveiled Thursday, ranged from "I wish you could have seen me grow up" addressed to a deceased grandmother to the upbeat "Never give up" of a cancer survivor.
