A sheep truck overturned in the middle of Logan's Main Street on Friday, injuring no humans but killing about two dozen sheep, police said.

A semitrailer truck driven by Brance Justin Hammons, 22, Deweyville, was northbound on Main Street about 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of 300 South when it struck an eastbound car driven by Josh D. Demler, 16, Logan.Hammons apparently lost control of the truck and its load shifted, causing the trailer to overturn, said Logan police Lt. Lem Earl. Demler's vehicle was a total loss.

A third vehicle swerved onto the sidewalk to avoid the accident, and its driver also escaped injury.
