Alice Johnson Hepworth, 91, passed away Saturday, July 6, 1996, in Bountiful.
Born October 7, 1904, to George W. and Elizabeth Pack Johnson. She married Joseph Garrett Hepworth November 27, 1929, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in various auxiliaries. She was a professional seamstress and loved making ceramics. She was a judge at the Davis County Fair for many years and won many blue ribbons for her handiwork and canning items.
Her nickname of "Happy" is well deserved for she has brought smiles to many people as she performed her one-woman-comedy routine throughout Utah and the Western States.
She will be reunited with her husband, Joe, who preceded her in death August 31, 1993.
She is survived by one son, Michael (Karen) of Portland, Ore.; three daughters, Ann Lalli of Bountiful, Mrs. Frank A. Roybal (Joan) of Centerville, Marian Thompson of Bountiful; 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 1996, at 12 noon in the Bountiful 33rd Ward Chapel, 51 South Main. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, on Tuesday evening from 6:30-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
