Christopher Martin, half of the rap duo "Kid 'N Play," says he's bounced back from the pitfalls of quick celebrity and is now back on stage and in the recording studio.

Martin, who shot to stardom as rapper "Play," says he wasn't prepared to handle fame. He had women, custom-made cars, a chain of barbershops and a clothing line. But the star of the four "House Party" movies and "Class Act" squandered his riches and had a playboy attitude.

Martin, 33, is now working out some of his demons with a play he wrote, directs and stars in, called "Radio Live: The House Party with a Purpose."
