Franklin Kay Miller, age 62, passed away July 7, 1996 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born December 5, 1933 in Salina, Utah to Grace Shaw Miller and William Miller. He married Margaret Loflin, August 25, 1956 in Richmond, Virginia. Frank was a veteran and served in the United States Army at Fort Lee, Virginia. While serving, he was a member of the All Army Track Team. He attended Snow College and was a member of their national championship basketball team. Frank was self employed for most of his working life as a custom saddlemaker. His saddles are prized by all those who appreciate fine leatherwork. Frank loved his family, his horses, and BYU sports. He was always a proud father and grandfather. Frank was a man who was always a good and faithful friend and will be sorely missed by all.Frank is survived by his wife; two sons (daughters-in-law): Russell (Debbie), Sandy, Utah and Rory (Joni), Tulsa, Oklahoma; his mother, Grace Miller Bench, Manti, Utah; two sisters: Rita Black, West Valley City, Utah; and Marsha Griffin, Richfield, Utah; a brother, James Bench, Manti, Utah; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 1996 at 11 a.m., Spring Creek 8th Ward, 235 East 550 North, Springville, Utah. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 So., Springville, Utah and from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to funeral services at the church. Interment at Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
