Keith Esper Sorensen, age 82, died in Salt Lake City, July 7, 1996, after a short illness.
He was born March 11, 1914 in Farmington, Utah, the son of William and Estelle Sorensen. He married Tess Gardner June 8, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Keith was involved in the floral business all of his life. He was the owner of Stadium Gardens and Hyland Floral. He was past president of the Northwest Florist Association.He was a past president of the Bonneville Kiwanis Club, and a member of the Fort Douglas Country Club, the Ambassador Club, Gyros, the Chesapeake Duck Club, and the Cottonwood Murray Elks. He graduated from Granite High School where he was All State guard on the football team. Attended Utah State University.
He is survived by his wife, Tess, Salt Lake City; and three children, Craig G. Sorensen (Jolene), Omaha; Karren S. Hagen (Russ), Santa Barbara; David K. Sorensen (Kathy), Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Keith will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and unselfish attitude towards life.
Funeral services will take place at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 1996. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at the Wasatch Lawn.
