Jack Wayne Cook, age 71, passed away August 10, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born November 12, 1924 to William Lester and Ellen Christina Livingston Cook in Logan, Utah.Married Betty Arlene Vincent, October 10, 1952 in Salt Lake City. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He loved his loving wife Betty, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed boating (Lake Pals), the outdoors and working with the scouts. He served as President of the Holladay Lions Club. He served in the U.S. Navy. He weathered the storm thru many physical elements and was faithful in his service to his church. He always maintained a great sense of humor and a genuine sensitive spirit.
Survived by his wife; Betty, two daughters; Cathy Ann (Craig) Patrick, Arlene (Duane) Ward, two sons; John Lester (Leslie) Cook, Scott David (Sherri) Cook and 17 grandchildren. Two brothers; Ray and Jeff Cook, two sisters; Dora Olson and Louise Allen. Preceded in death by a brother; Glade Cook, two sisters; LaRue Ryan and Lillias Adams.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 13, 1996 at the Holladay 10th Ward Chapel, 4601 So. 2565 East. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Monday from 6 to 8 pm and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to services at the church. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
