The role of good Samaritan seems to come naturally to Tom Cruise.
A French family jumped into a lifeboat Wednesday after their 63-foot yacht caught fire off the island of Capri, Italy. They then ran into an unlikely pair of saviors: Cruise and wife Nicole Kidman, who welcomed them onto their 210-foot yacht, "Talita."Jacques and Bernadette Lejeue and their 7-year-old daughter, Eugenie, spent about 30 minutes on the boat until a Coast Guard cutter arrived to take them back to port.
Cruise has played the hero before.

In March, he called for help when he saw a 22-year-old woman, who had been hit by a car, lying on a street in Santa Monica, Calif. Four months later, he helped a 7-year-old boy in London who was caught under a barrier.
