Julia Lucille Westenskow, 83, died September 11, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Julia was born October 11, 1912 to David and Mary Elizabeth Coe McClune in Cricket Flat, Elgin, Oregon. Julia was an active member of the LDS Church. She later met and married Jacob Lamar Westenskow in 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Julia is survived by five children, Lowell of Imbler, Oregon; Mary Anna Cox of Salt Lake City; Carolyn Franks of Kennewick, Wash.; Dean of Pocatello, Idaho; and Allen Joie of Deer Park, Wash.; stepchildren, Donald of LaGrande, Oregon; Winona Darling of Tacoma, Wash.; Myrtha Fields of John Day, Ore.; Peter of Imbler, Ore.; and Bette Metcalf of Springville, Ore.; two sisters, Millie Hug of Hermiston, Ore.; Margaret Follett of Elgin, Ore.; and brother, Lloyd McClune of Elgin Oregon; 30 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at the Payne Family Mortuary in LaGrand, Oregon, on Friday, September 13, 1996, and funeral services will be held at the Elgin, Oregon Ward, on Saturday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Summerville Cemetery, Summerville, Oregon.
