- Agreed to change the ordinance on side yard requirements to have building officials measure from the foundation instead of the eaves.
- Agreed to allow decks and patios on the main level without counting against the rear yard setback.

In its Tuesday meeting, the City Council:
- Reduced a water pumping charge for residents above the Murdock Canal on the east side of town from $3 a month to $1.70. The reduction came because the number of homes has swelled from 237 to more than 500 in the last three years. Residents still pay a base rate of $14 a month for culinary water.
- Added a $3 pumping charge to a new Canberra subdivision area higher up the mountain. No homes are built in the area yet, but a new water tank has been installed. Officials will watch the new zone, dubbed the "O Zone," for a year before refiguring the actual costs of water delivery.
- Agreed to allow Mike Maughn of Interstate Industrial, 200 S. Geneva Road, to turn in four water shares to develop eight acres and then pay the difference in needed water shares in cash. The area is commercial. Officials authorized a study to see how much water would be needed and said a standard different than for residential users may be needed.
- Approved a new plat map for Canberra Hills Townhomes of 22 lots that reconfigures and improves the plan at 200 North and 1200 East.

- Discussed an agreement with the Uinta National Forest for billing purposes in connection with the use of the county's dispatch facilities during fire emergency situations. The proposed contract includes a charge of $75 per day for the National Forest to use the county's dispatch facilities.
